Privacy Survey

This Privacy Survey aims to provide a general indication of privacy compliance maturity for organisations who are governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The questions focus on some of the key indicators of whether your organisation is taking the most important steps in order to properly protect personal information and to comply with the Privacy Act.

The survey is not a privacy audit or a privacy impact assessment and is not exhaustive of the full range of privacy and data regulation in Australia or oversees. This short survey – which should take less than 3 minutes to complete – aims to provide you with a broad indication about your level of compliance with some of requirements of the Privacy Act. In turn, this will give you a rough guide about how ready you might be to manage additional obligations under the upcoming reforms to the Privacy Act.

If you are not sure whether your organisation has taken a particular action, we recommend answering “no”.
