Proposed Victorian Psychosocial Hazards Regulations
On demand podcast

Our first podcast in the series deals with a topic that is becoming increasingly important in the WHS sphere: the management of psychosocial hazards.

Marie Boland’s ‘Review of the model WHS laws: Final Report’, released in February 2019, included a recommendation to “[a]mend the model WHS Regulations to deal with how to identify the psychosocial risks associated with psychological injury and the appropriate control measures to manage those risks.’

In 2020 the Respect@Work inquiry led by Kate Jenkins, brought into focus workplace sexual harassment and the associated risk(s) of psychological injury.

Since that time there have been additional significant developments, including the recently released for comment, Proposed OHS Amendment (Psychological Health) Regulations (Vic), that warrant a closer look.
