Selecting the Right Legal GenAI Tool for Your Practice
On demand

The legal industry is on the brink of transformation with the integration of Generative AI (GenAI). Understanding which AI solutions fit your practice is crucial to enhancing productivity.

This presentation, building on the research Nick has done as an Adjunct Professor at Bond University, will guide you through the various types of LegalAI available and provide case studies of what the 15 major solutions do and how they might fit your practice.

Key Takeaways:

  • Universal AI: These are broad-use productivity tools that can enhance general workflow efficiency for lawyers. The session will discuss public AI solutions like ChatGPT as well as vendor products like Microsoft Copilot, Gemini for Google Workspace and Slack GPT which all offer tools that improve productivity without being legally specialised. They are great for tasks like email management, document summarisation and meeting assistance.
  • Focussed AI: We will discuss the AI solutions that tackle specific legal use cases. Examples of vendors we will discuss include:
o Contract Review & Drafting: Spellbook, Diligen, RobinAI, LawDroid and Bryter.
o Contract Lifecycle Management: Ironclad, iCertis, Docusign, Malbek, and Evisort.
o Discovery: Reveal Brainspace, Relativity, DISCO, Casepoint, and Everlaw.
o Due Diligence: Kira, eBravia, Luminance.

  • Precision AI: These solutions focus on complex legal analysis and research as well as a number of the areas listed in Focussed AI. We will discuss the vendors in this space including Harvey, Lexis+ AI, Thomson Reuters CoCounsel and vLex’s Vincent
  • Selecting the Right tools: The session will discuss how to assess which tools might be best for your practice.
